What is the Census module?
Infometrics Census module is the easiest source for viewing census data for your area.
The module enables you to explore Census data for your area, giving you deep insights into the people, families, and households in your area.
The Census module is part of the Regional Economic Profile (REP). See the Census module in the publicly available New Zealand REP.
How can the Census module be used?
It shows how your community has changed over time. This will inform how successful you are in meeting your policy objectives.
You can see how your community differs across parts of your area. It helps inform you which parts of your area need most support.
It enables you to compare your area against similar areas for all census variables. This will help you identify in which policy areas you are outperforming or underperforming relative to your peers.
How do I get access to the Census module?
You can access the Census module in the Demographics section of the Regional Economic Profile (REP).
The New Zealand REP is a public resource which enables you to compare and rank all territorial authorities in New Zealand using all census indicators. Many local area profiles are publicly available courtesy of our clients.
